Quality: Overview proficiency tests
Proficiency tests, independent controls of a laboratory’s analysis quality, are part of Primoris’ everyday operation. The past months Primoris participated in the following proficiency tests:
- BNN: pesticides in tomato passata
- Sciensano: mycotoxins in rusk
- DRRR: mineral oils in cocoa butter and cholocate
- FAPAS: pesticides in milk powder
- Proof-ACS: pesticides in sweet pepper
- Relana: pesticides in babyleaf lettuce
- FAPAS: heavy metals in dried herbs
- FAPAS: pesticides in parsley
- FAPAS: MCPD in vegetable oil
Primoris takes part in proficiency tests organised by reputable institutions in the context of:
- European monitoring: the proficiency tests are organised by the European Reference Laboratories for Residues of Pesticides
- Internal quality assurance: FAPAS, Testqual and others. These organisations are accredited for the organisation and the reporting of ring tests.
- Approvals and certifications: QS, Coresta (tobacco), FAVV-AFSCA and others. These organisations sometimes organise their own ring tests, with a good outcome being the condition for acceptance.
